Endowment Funds

The Friends of the Portage Zhang Senior Center Endowment Fund was established in 1995 through the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Since that time, the older adult population in our area has increased dramatically, bringing about an increased demand for PZSC’s programs and services. Please consider making a gift now or designating a bequest or other form of deferred giving to help ensure a stable future for senior services in Portage. Donors who give more than $500 belong to the Founders’ Circle, and their names are listed on a brass plaque in the entry to the Portage Zhang Senior Center. 

If you wish to make a donation to the Friends’ Endowment Fund, please make your check payable to Kalamazoo Community Foundation and write Friends of the Portage Zhang Senior Center Endowment Fund in the check’s memo line. You can mail or hand-deliver your check to the:

You can also make a secure online contribution using your Visa or MasterCard at Kalamazoo Community Foundation.

On the Kalamazoo Community Foundation website, click on “Give Now” enter the amount you wish to give, and then select “Another Community Foundation Fund” from the list of designations. Then simply enter Friends of the Portage Zhang Senior Center in the box that appears. It’s that simple! What a great way to contribute to a lasting legacy!
